It has been a long journey to get to where I am at now in the hair salon industry. After many years of experience, I have strived to become an accomplished hair stylist by training and performing most hair salon services.

In 1998 I began my career by assisting the owner, also hair stylist, at an upscale salon in Southfield MI. I was only 18 years old and honestly, I had no intentions at this time to become a hair stylist. As an assistant, I applied color and communicated with salon clientele. I felt really comfortable as an assistant and connected well with the salon clients. I quickly realized that my true calling was to be a hair stylist.

After several years as an assistant, I moved to a premier salon in Farmington Hills MI, taking on an apprenticeship position with one of the areas top stylist. During my apprenticeship, I learned how to specialize in coloring, highlighting, and precision hair cuts.

After completing my apprenticeship and developing a high level of experience as a stylist, I opened Moda Salon, an upscale hair and nail salon in Farmington Hills. I worked as owner and hair stylist for over 8 years, building Moda into a successful business while gaining invaluable experience learning new salon services such as Keratin treatment, hair extensions, Ombré coloring, Opti Smooth heat straightening and much more. After owning Moda for over 8 years, I wanted to spend more time behind the chair so I sold my business and moved to Bloomfield Hills
